Apr 7th, 2016, I was staying just a few blocks away from the site of Lakota Family sale which was supposed to be held on the next day.  It was just coincidence but once I realized Lakota was going to have a family sale which hasn't been held quite a while, I was resolved to wake up early next day...

Really shocking enough in the next morning, however, there have been already several people waiting in front of the site...  I was tremendously regret why I didn't wake up an hour earlier...  I was staying just there!  This fear ended up being utterly groundless.  I've got the 7th ticket to enter the sale site and this number is still among group 1 which was entitled to enter the site as first group people.  

There were no exotic models as long as I saw but I found this unique Chukka boot on the shelf.

This is one of the samples Lakota ordered the factory at the early stage of their business.  Alden doesn't make this any longer and Lakota doesn't sell this right now.  Since it seems it's been made around 20 years ago, I believe we can't see this model on the market any more.

Maybe because this one was made as a sample, Alden probably picked up one of the best cordovan for better impression to Lakota.  It's really transparent, flawless and beautiful.  I like dark #8  but this transparent #8 is definitely the origin of this color.
