Cigar Cap Toe, that's the model a lot of Alden fans are seeking for and I was also one of them until recently.  I must have been quite lucky to get an offer for such a beautiful shoe...  

This shoe is made around Aberdeen Last as used for AF1.  When I purchased AF1 long time ago, unfortunately I didn't understand about my best size and chose too small one.  It already became a funny experience but I still remember it was really painful to break in.

Speaking of cap toe, I have Ravello Cap Toe Boot (Modified Last) and Espresso Cap Toe Blucher (Barrie Last) but overall impression is totally different on this mode.  This shoe has flat welt (270) with close heel and then it looks very sharp or smart whatever you call.  I even think this shoe might be able to match with business attire like dark brown suits.  

Because of flat welt 270, it has very modest look.  I love widely extended reverse welt but Aberdeen Last looks much better with minimal extension of the sole.

From the front view, it's pretty much the same with plain toe, however, straight tip "stitch" adds great personality on this shoe.  I normally prefer different last such as Barrie but I think this model should have been designed for Aberdeen.

Here is the comparison with Espresso Cap Toe from Lakota.  Their shade is quite different but I can't tell which one to choose...
